Sustainable...
Clear PP's superior lightweight and outstanding impact properties improve handling and storage, while its recyclability and lower density address key sustainability issues regarding waste reduction and lower energy consumption. These important considerations are leading to a switch to Clear PP in a wide range of applications including baby bottles, cosmetic jars, and other rigid packaging applications.

Low density...
With a specific gravity of 0.9 g/cm3, PP is among the lightest polymers. For example, it is less dense than PET (specific gravity 1.27g/cm3). This is also true for clear PP versus many other transparent materials.
By requiring less PP per unit volume, manufacturers can save on material costs.
Recyclability...
Not only is clear PP fully recyclable but it can also be used as regrinds without compromising on the performance of the resin. The total environmental impact of polypropylene is less than traditional materials in life cycle analysis.
Bisphenol A free...
In comparison to polycarbonate, this versatile plastic not only offers an approaching clarity, but avoids many of its drawbacks. Bisphenol A is not used in the manufacturing of clarified polypropylene. It is also more environmentally responsible for two reasons: with lower density, PP requires one-third less resin than polycarbonate for a given application, reducing the amount of non-renewable resources used in manufacture and it is more easily recycled in the existing waste management infrastructure.
