TPE-E Offers Better Durability that Rubber
TRIEL® - Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomers (TPE-E), offered from Samyang, provide a winning combination: the flexibility of rubber, the strength of plastics, and the processability of thermoplastics.
The most important properties of TRIEL® are:
• superior flex fatigue and broad temperature use (from -70 °C till 140 °C)
• chemical resistance (fat, oil)
• resistance to flex-cut growth, tearing, creep and abrasion
• excellent strength and toughness
• better durability vs. rubber
TRIEL® can be processed by a variety of thermoplastic processing techniques like injection molding, extrusion and extrusion blow molding (patent). TPE-E has already proven its performance for a wide variety of applications in the automotive, electrical/electronic and cable industry, in breathable membranes production and conveyor belts for the food industry.
