Chemical resistance of plastics to Grease @ 20°C is depending on their ability to keep properties when exposed to this reagent. Traditional chemical degradations encompass aesthetic defects, decomposition, swelling, crazing, cracking, and/or change in mechanical properties such as impact strength, tensile strength and elongation. Chemical Resistance of plastics vary with temperature and reagents concentration. ASTM D543 describes the Standard Practices for Evaluating the Resistance of Plastics to Chemical Reagents.
