Softflex® 4494

Softflex® 4494 by LyondellBasell is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It exhibits good adhesion to substrates such as ABS, ASA, alloys, PC and polyolefins. This grade is suitable for overmolding ABS. Applications include electrical and electronics (handheld scanners, cash register trays, audio speakers, security tags, meteorology instruments, home satellite dishes, space heaters, smartphone and tablet cases and LED lighting). Softflex® 4494 is suitable for hardware, medical & healthcare, housewares (power tools, brushes), lawn & garden equipment and sporting goods.
