Softflex® 4500

Softflex® 4500 by LyondellBasell is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is suitable for overmolding PP and PE. Applications include electrical and electronics (handheld scanners, cash register trays, audio speakers, security tags, meteorology instruments, home satellite dishes, space heaters, smartphone and tablet cases and LED lighting). It is suitable for hardware, medical & healthcare, housewares (power tools, brushes), lawn & garden equipment and sporting goods. Softflex® 4500 exhibits good adhesion to substrates such as ABS, ASA, alloys, PC and polyolefins.
