Zythane® 8085D

Zythane® 8085D is a clear, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer. Exhibits excellent abrasion resistance, toughness, tensile strength, flexural strength & modulus (>2200 MPa). Possesses good oil-, fuel-, chemical-, solvent- & fatigue resistance. Is a lightweight, durable, recyclable and naturally anti-microbial grade. Provides rigidity, good elasticity, color stability with UV additives and good-to-excellent transparency. Shows excellent low temperature flexibility, fatigue resistance, cut & tear resistance, good physical properties under UV exposure and good hydrolytic stability. Offers good over-molded adhesion to certain elastomers such as PC, ABS and PMMA. Can be processed by injection molding. Used in cell phone cases, footwear, sporting goods like sports shoes, ski boot shell & ski tips, power tools handles, plugs, terminations, animal ID tags and railroad pads.
