Pebax® Rnew 80R53 SP 02

Pebax® Rnew 80R53 SP 02 is a thermoplastic elastomer made of flexible polyether and rigid polyamide (polyether block amide) based on renewable resources. It is extremely tough, heat- and UV-resistant and maintains elasticity even under extreme cold conditions. Pebax® Rnew 80R53 SP 02 is 50% more rigid compared to other Pebax® grades and due to its high rigidity and outstanding processability, it is possible to design thinner, more creative and lightweight parts. It can be processed using both extrusion and injection molding. Its main application includes shoes specifically ski boots and athletic footwear components. This grade contains more than 90% renewable carbon content as per ASTM D6866 standard.
