Elastollan® 1174 D

Elastollan® 1174 D by BASF is a transparent, recyclable polyether based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade. Offers good elastic recovery with resistance over a wide range of temperatures. Exhibits abrasion-, impact-, wear-, tear-, kink-, oil- and grease- resistance. Also exhibits excellent resistance to hydrolysis and microbiological attack. Provides good flexibility at low temperatures, high tensile strength, elasticity and good damping behavior. It is processed by injection molding and extrusion. Applications include industrial, automotive cable sheathing, jacketing and connectors. Elastollan® 1174 D is designed for plugs, terminations, spiral tubing, ski-boot shells and ear tags. Other applications include mining screens, railway pads and seals.
