Elastollan® 1180 A

Elastollan® 1180 A by BASF is a recyclable, transparent polyether-polyurethane elastomer. Offers good elastic recovery with resistance over a wide range of temperature. Exhibits abrasion-, impact-, wear-, tear and kink-resistance, oil- and grease-resistance. Shows excellent resistance to hydrolysis and microbiological attack. Provides good flexibility at low temperatures, high tensile strength, elasticity and good damping behavior. Elastollan® 1180 A is processed by injection molding and extrusion. Applications include industrial and automotive cable sheathing and jacketing, connectors, plugs and terminations, spiral tubing, ski-boot shells, ear tags, technical moldings, e.g. mining screens, railway pads and seals.
