Hytrel® 4556

Hytrel® 4556 by Celanese is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer that is devoid of plasticizers. It has a non-discoloring stabilizer and is light stabilized. Has good melt stability, toughness, and resilience, as well as high creep, impact, and flex fatigue resistance, flexibility at low temperatures, and good property retention at high temperatures. Industrial chemicals, oils, and solvents are resistant to this material. It can be processed via injection molding, thermoforming, coating, casting, film, sheet and other extrusion techniques. Automotive, fluid power, electrical/electronic, consumer goods, appliance, power tool, sporting goods, furniture, industrial, and off-road transportation/equipment industries are all potential applications for Hytrel® 4556.
