ENGAGE™ 7256

ENGAGE™ 7256 by Dow is an easily colorable, light-weight, general-purpose polyolefin elastomer (POE) grade based on ethylene butene copolymer. Exhibits low density, excellent melt strength, processability and lower shrinkage. Also exhibits low temperature performance, excellent elasticity, toughness, low temperature ductility and reduced surface gloss. Offers good thermal stability, heat- and impact resistance. Shows easy mixing, forming and processing on plastic and rubber equipments. It is a recyclable grade and can be processed by injection molding, extrusion and thermoforming. Used as a neat polymer and value-enhancing ingredient in compound formulations. ENGAGE™ 7256 is suitable for footwear foams, molded goods, toys, consumer and household products. Other applications include automotive bumper fascia, TPO roofing and noise vibration harshness (NVH) applications.
