Vistamaxx™ Performance Polymer 3980FL

Vistamaxx™ Performance Polymer 3980FL by ExxonMobil Chemical is a propylene elastomer. It is produced using ExxonMobil Chemical's proprietary metallocene catalyst technology. It is primarily composed of isotactic propylene repeat units with random ethylene distribution. It can be blended with PP, PE and other polyolefins to reduce stress-whitening and improve impact properties.

• It exhibits good optical properties and good chemical resistance to aqueous systems & non-hydrocarbon-based fluids.
• It provides excellent adhesion to conventional & metallocene PP and PE for exceptional extrusion coating, lamination and tie-layer performance.
• It offers very low seal initiation temperature and high seal strength when used as a sealing layer of co-extruded structures.
• It is suitable for cast and blown film, molding, polymer modification, packaging and compounding applications.
• It passes test for film appearance with regard to gels, as needed for performance film applications (A rating).
• Vistamaxx™ Performance Polymer 3980FL is RoHS compliant and may be used in food contact applications.
