THERMOLAST® K TP6HPG

THERMOLAST® K TP6HPG is a grey colored, water-insoluble, halogen-free, recyclable TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) grade present as firm elastic granules. It is an alternative material to EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) and PVC-P. Exhibits adhesion to PP, excellent mechanical properties, excellent weldabililty, excellent UV (ultraviolet)- & weather resistance and resistance to acrylic paints. Moreover, it does not interact with other materials (e.g. PVC-U, PP, PS, ABS, POM, PA, PC and PMMA). Also, it is incompatible with strong oxidants. THERMOLAST® K TP6HPG can be processed using extrusion and injection molding. Typical applications include distance profiles, edge guards, molded parts (solar equipment) and seals. Complies with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals).
