ESTANE® 58863 TPU

ESTANE® 58863 TPU by Lubrizol is a high clarity polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade by Lubrizol. Exhibits high melt flow, easy processing, good elasticity, good toughness and low temperature flexibility. Also exhibits hydrolytic stability, blend-ability, good weathering properties, resistance to wet environments, chemicals, heat and fungus growth. ESTANE® 58863 TPU possesses high transparency, good mechanical strength, matte finish, high tension set, grip and low creep properties. Offers good abrasion-, kink-, tear-, puncture-, oil-, solvents-, grease- and high burst-pressure resistance. Can be processed using extrusion. Applications include wire & cable jacketing, mining, coiled and spiral cables, telephone building and construction applications. Suitable for data- & military cabling, fiber optics, land and marine cable. It is used for ocean bottom, off-shore, umbilicals, automotive anti-lock braking systems (ABS)and harnesses. Also used for chain-, signal-, transportation-, video and audio cable.
