Pearlstick™ 48-60/30

Pearlstick™ 48-60/30 is an elastic, crystalline, linear and aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) grade by Lubrizol. Offers very high crystallization rate, medium-low thermoplasticity, excellent heat resistance and very good freeze resistance. Exhibits transparent solutions, high tenacity, surface tack, stress-strain power and low melting point. Soluble in acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cyclohexanone, dimethylformamide and tetrahydrofuran (THF). Pearlstick™ 48-60/30 is used in the production of adhesives for bonding plasticized PVC to plasticized PVC, leather, rubber, textiles or other materials of shoe industry. Addition of polyfunctional isocyanate improves the performance of an adhesive.
