Hifax CA 212 A is a water insoluble, natural colored, ductile polypropylene based thermoplastic olefin elastomer. It is manufactured using LyondellBasell’s proprietary Catalloy process technology. Exhibits high flow, good processability, excellent softness, good flexibility, low hardness, high impact resistance and low temperature impact resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion compounding, extrusion flat-die and calendering. Recommended for TPO foils & skins, sealants, film, wire & cable and in buildings and construction for single ply roofing. Complies with EU 1935/2004/EC (framework regulation), EU 2023/2006/EC (GMP), EU 10/2011/EC (PIM), US CONEG Model Legislation for heavy metals, EU Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC, End of Life Vehicle directive 2000/53/EC, RoHS directive 2002/95/EC & 2011/65/EU and meets the FDA requirements of 21 CFR 177.1520 & 21 CFR 176.170.
