TAFMER™ XM-5080

TAFMER™ XM-5080 is a specialty, propylene based α-olefin elastomer (TPO) grade by Mitsui Chemicals. Exhibits low crystallinity, transparency and miscibility with PP. Offers low melting point and low heat seal initiation temperature (HSIT). Is odorless and insoluble in water. TAFMER™ XM-5080 is suitable for processing by bi-axial orientation (BOPP) extrusion. Used in packaging. Meets FDA title 21, parts 170 to 189, FCN (food contact notification) and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
