RTP 1500-30D UV is a UV-stabilized polyether-ester block copolymer (TEEE/COPE) grade. Exhibits slip resistance, shock absorption, ergonomic comfort, soft texture, excellent heat resistance, very good hydrocarbon resistance (grease & oil), high tensile strength, excellent wear properties, exceptional toughness, impact resistance, load bearing capacity, low temperature flexibility, excellent flex memory, flex fatigue, creep resistance and resilience. Also exhibits good chemical resistance to non-halogenated solvents, oils and greases, even at elevated temperatures. Moreover, it can work in a wide temperature range. Suitable for dynamic applications. Applications include gaskets, stoppers, housings, rollers, valves, bumpers, wheels, pads, casters, strain reliefs, cable jacketing, switch contact points, bellows, fuel line covers, shoe soles/ heels, wrist straps, cushions, airbag doors, keycaps, cosmetic cases, handles, grips, pushbuttons and knobs. RTP 1500-30D UV is also suitable for industrial applications including tool grips, housing overmolds, mandrels for hose production, seals for pumping & dispensing systems, grommets, mounting pads for vibration dampening, bearings, slides, gears, cams, bushings, rollers and sliding components.
