RTP 2700 S-80A

RTP 2700 S-80A is a general purpose saturated styrenic block copolymer grade. It exhibits stress-strain behavior and dynamic hysteresis that is more like a thermoset rubber than any other TPE. Also exhibits low compression set within their designed temperature range, generally lower and broader hardness range than other TPEs, low specific gravity and superior resistance to oxidation and UV radiation compared to unsaturated styrenic block copolymers. Offers good chemical resistance to water, acids and bases, and polar solvents. Also exhibits better oxygen- and ozone resistance than unsaturated versions. Applications include gaskets, seals, stoppers, housings, rollers, valves, bumpers, wheels, pads, casters, strain reliefs, cable jacketing, switch contact points, bellows, fuel line covers, housings, shoe soles/heels, wrist straps, cushions, airbag doors, keycaps, cosmetic cases, handles, grips, pushbuttons and knobs.
