Medalist® MD-12180

Medalist® MD-12180 is an unfilled, high performance lubricated thermoplastic elastomer by Teknor Apex. It is a halogen free, resilient grade available in natural color & translucent appearance. It is recommended for medical and health care applications. It is suitable for bladders, bushings, connectors, disposable hospital goods, flexible grips, grommets, knobs, closures, pharmaceuticals, plugs, rubber replacement and seals. It offers higher hardness, high elasticity, low density, no fillers and excellent adhesion to polypropylene. Medalist® MD-12180 provides autoclave & ethylene oxide sterilizable, chemical resistance, good adhesion, good colorability, good flexibility, good moldability, good toughness, medium flow, gamma radiation resistance, resilience and slipperiness. It can be processed by injection molding. It is approved by RoHS.
