Medalist® MD-16143D

Medalist® MD-16143D by Teknor Apex is a filled, halogen-free, chemical resistant, high performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It exhibits good adhesion, colorability, moldability, sterilizability and toughness. This grade is autoclave and ethylene oxide sterilized. It possesses high flow, low specific gravity, good slip, medium density and high hardness. It can be processed using injection overmolding. Medalist® MD-16143D is suitable for caps, disposable hospital goods, handles, hypodermic syringe parts, knobs, medical devices, surgical instruments. It is also recommended for rubber replacement, pharmaceuticals and dental applications. It is RoHS compliant with agency ratings ISO 10993 Part 5 and ISO 13485.
