Sarlink® ME-2285B

Sarlink® ME-2285B is a neutral, readily colorable styrenic TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) grade. It is less dense than EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer (M-class) rubber) and PVC (polyvinyl chloride), yielding weight savings of up to 15% and 23%, respectively. Exhibits excellent UV (ultraviolet) stability. Offers good flexibility over a wide temperature range and yields Class A surface appearance. Provides cost, performance, flow (higher) and processing benefits as compared to standard TPVs (thermoplastic vulcanizates). Moreover, it can be processed using injection molding. Applications of Sarlink® ME-2285B include automotive exterior components such as mirror gaskets, static seals, cowl vent seals and trims offering complex, intricate designs while shortening cycles through reduced packing and cooling time.
