EUROPRENE® 1509 by Versalis (Eni Group) is a general purpose, emulsion styrene-butadiene copolymer (ESBR) rubber obtained by cold polymerization using a mixture of rosin acid and fatty acid soaps as emulsifiers. A non-staining antioxidant is added during the production process. It is free from nitrosating agents, pre-formed nitrosamines and nitrosable substances. Exhibits good processability, mechanical properties, low viscosity and easy incorporation of high filler loading. Shows resistance to abrasion, oil and weather. Suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and calendering. Recommended for footwear, microcellular soles, carpet underlay and outdoor applications. EUROPRENE® 1509 complies with EN ISO 14001, BS OHSAS18001 and EN ISO 9001 regulations.
