jER™ YL980 by Mitsubishi Chemical is a bisphenol A, ultrahigh pure, liquid epoxy resin with low chlorine content. It is formed by the condensation polymerization of bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. Exhibits sharp molecular dispersion, small curing shrinkage, excellent dimensional stability and high mechanical strength. Provides excellent heat-, wear-, chemical-, moisture- and abrasion resistance. Possible applications of jER™ YL980 could be paints & coatings, composite material, civil engineering & construction materials, adhesives and tools.
