PLYOPHEN® 23010 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a heat reactive liquid phenolic resin dissolved in ethanol. Suitable for canvas or paper impregnation. PLYOPHEN® 23010 is recommended for use as a varnish in the production of mechanical laminates, gear stock and rolled tubing. Meets NEMA grade "C" specification for an 8 ounce canvas stock if treated to a resin content of 45-50%, volatiles of 4.5-5.5%.
