PRIEX® 18003 by AddComp (ALTANA) is a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) grade grafted with a high quantity of maleic anhydride (MAH). Offers improved mechanical properties, improved adhesion performance, ultra-low smell and low VOC level due to very low residual free MAH. Also offers very high and regular grafting level for outstanding coupling efficiency and low dosing. Provides adhesion to more polar materials like metals, wood, natural fibers, mineral fillers, polyamides and EVOH. Is suitable for processing by mono-layer extrusion. PRIEX® 18003 by AddComp (ALTANA) is used as blend-in additive or as mono-extrusion layer. It can function as compatibilizer, dispersion agent and adhesion promotor for LLDPE & HDPE composites and multilayer systems. Complies with EU food contact regulations.
