SX490:CM401-2 by AEI Compounds is a UV stabilized, silane crosslinkable polyethylene (XLPE) grade. It contains 2.5% carbon. The graft component SX490 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401-2 generally in the ratio 95:5. Possesses excellent extrusion characteristics at high output rates. SX490:CM401-2 is recommended for insulated "overhead" or aerial cables of the bunched type. Complies with German specification VDE 0274.
