AKROLOY® PA GF 60

AKROLOY® PA GF 60 is a partially aromatic Polyamide (PA) blend based on a semi-crystalline PA 6.6 and an amorphous CoPA (PA 6I/6T), reinforced with 60% glass fiber. Offers increased toughness and elongation at break, high rigidity, high strength, good surface finish and creep modulus. Processed by injection molding and can be used as a substitute for metal die-casting. Is suitable for automotive applications such as ignition key switch/electric motor housing, door handle/lock components, instrument panels, arm rests, wiper components, seat sliding mechanisms, etc., in construction industry as window locks, door lock components, corner connectors for lighting systems, shelving support elements, etc., in electronic industry for mobile phone housings, plastic tongs, housings for measuring units, carrier plates, etc., for machine building components like plastic screws, calipers, screw clamps, etc. Also used for household applications such as handles, coffee maker components, juice extractor components, knives and handles, bottle openers, nutcrackers, etc. and sanitary installation in single lever taps, water filter housings, housing for bath tap, chrome-plated shower heads, levels, etc.
