Solaplast 1111 is a homopolymer polypropylene base resin (HoPP) containing food-grade aquatic biomass (minimum 40% algae) and a coupling agent. Offers stiffness and durability. This resin can be used for durable as well as for rigid application and can be used directly or as a masterbatch to be let down to desired loading levels in the end product. Suitable for injection molding applications. Possible applications include agricultural/horticultural mulching films, consumer electronics such as touch screen computer casings, loud speakers, keyboard elements, mobile casings, vacuum cleaners & mouse for laptop, rigid & flexible packaging, consumer goods and household appliances, automotive (such as seat covers, airbag covers & steering wheels), industrial/construction industry and 3D printing.
