Adsint PA11 ESD

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Adsint PA11 ESD by BASF is a bio-based polyamide 11 for laser sintering and safety applications. It is derived from castor seed oil. It offers reduced surface- & volume resistivity compared to non-functionalized PA11. It shows high toughness, excellent impact-, weather (UV)- and chemical resistance. It provides well-balanced properties such as high tensile strength, good surface quality and elasticity combined with high process stability. It is recommended for applications that requires electrostatic discharge behavior of the printed parts. It can be used in electronics industry to produce functional parts i.e. manufacturing tools and fixtures. Adsint PA11 ESD is processable on most common SLS printers. It is designed for use in ESD compatible jigs, bridging elements between metal parts & insulative plastics, individualized components for electrostatic protected areas and electrostatic sensitive device applications. The refresh rate is about 50% depending on the application.
