Ultradur® B 4040 G11 HMG BK15029

Ultradur® B 4040 G11 HMG BK15029 is a medium viscosity, semi-crystalline, saturated, thermoplastic polyester derived from polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) reinforced with 55 % glass fiber. Exhibits high stiffness, high rigidity & strength, good dimensional stability under heat, good impact resistance, very high resistance to wear, thermostability, sliding friction properties, good insulation properties, good impact strength, low water absorption, good resistance to chemicals & weathering, and excellent heat ageing behavior. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for automotive exterior components such as mirror brackets and wiper arms. It is listed with TSCA, EPCRA 311/312, and CA Prop. 65.
