Ultradur® S 4090 G4 BK5110

Ultradur® S 4090 G4 BK5110 is a medium viscosity, semi-crystalline, saturated thermoplastic polyester derived from polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and acrylonitrile styrene acrylate polymer (ASA) reinforced with 20% glass. Exhibits good surface finish, stress cracking resistance, low warpage & shrinkage, toughness, high rigidity & strength, good dimensional stability under heat, good impact resistance, very high resistance to wear, thermostability, sliding friction properties, good insulation properties, good impact strength, low water absorption, good resistance to chemicals & weathering, and excellent heat ageing behavior. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for highly stressed equipment housings in the automotive, electrical and household sectors. It is listed with TSCA, CA Prop. 65 and EPCRA 311/312.
