Ultramid® 1C

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Ultramid® 1C is polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 (PA 6+PA 66) alloy by BASF. Possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, good processability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides high rigidity, toughness at low temperature, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability and high impact strength. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants. Also exhibits resistance to refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. Is also resistant to abrasion, corrosion, salts, alkalis and stress-crack formation. It is processed by injection molding. Ultramid® 1C is suitable for outdoor coatings and coverings with high oxygen barrier.
