Borcoat™ HE7405

Borcoat™ HE7405 by Borealis is a recyclable, high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Exhibits increased surface friction, roughness, UV- and thermal stability. Designed for processing by side extrusion. Borcoat™ HE7405 is recommended as a rough coat on PE coating, or repair of small damaged areas of PE coating systems used in steel pipe coating. Typical applications include concrete weight coating, pipes in steep terrain and offshore pipes without concrete weight coating to increase the grip in the caterpillar clamps during laying operations. Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006.
