Borlink™ LE0500EHV by Borealis is an odorless, crosslinkable polyethylene (XLPE) copolymer. Contains excellent distribution of carbon black & additives which offers smooth semiconductive screen. Provides excellent surface finish, outstanding output rates, excellent thermal stability and crosslinking at high surface temperature. Designed for processing by extrusion method. Borlink™ LE0500EHV is recommended for bonded insulation screen and semiconductive shielding of XLPE extra high voltage (EHV) cables. It is intended as conductive shields in cables rated at 400kV and above. Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006.
