BorSafe™ HE3490-IM by Borealis is a hexene copolymer based high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. It is a recyclable, odorless and bimodal grade. It is produced by advanced Borstar technology and contains carbon black. Exhibits outstanding UV resistance, long term stability, good moldability and strength. Designed for processing by injection molding and extrusion. BorSafe™ HE3490-IM is recommended for pressure fittings in the field of drinking water, natural gas, pressure sewerage, industrial, relining and sea outfall applications. Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006.
