BorSafe™ ME3441

BorSafe™ ME3441 is a yellow colored, water-insoluble bimodal medium density polyethylene compound. It is produced by advanced Borealis Borstar® technology and classified as an MRS 8.0 material (PE80). Also, it includes a combination of pigments and stabilizers to ensure excellent long-term thermal stability and UV resistance. It is also suitable for recycling using modern methods of shredding and cleaning. It can be processed using extrusion. Recommended for pressure pipe systems in the applications field of natural gas particularly where flexibility and coilability is of importance. The colored gas pipes produced from BorSafe™ ME3441 provide superior crack growth resistance, highest network safety, and a low whole life cost to infrastructure owners.
