Ateva® 280 by Celanese is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) grade. Exhibits good adhesion, cohesive strength, compatibility with wax and tackifiers. It is a fast-growing alternative to PVC in medical applications because of migratory plasticizer and incineration issues. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for medical device products, hot melt glue sticks & hot-melt adhesives for packaging, labeling, case & carton closing, lamination and book binding. Ateva® 280 complies with REACH and USP class VI regulations.
