Compostable® 3020

Compostable® 3020 is a renewable, ecologically sound, biodegradable PLA (poly‐lactic acid) blend resin. Exhibits an excellent balance of puncture strength, toughness, and processability. It can be processed on existing blown film extrusion machines. Recommended for liners, bags, packaging, overwrap, and similar applications. Meets BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute www.bpiworld.com) standards for compostability (ASTM6400D99, ASTM6868) and European Bioplastics Standards (EN13432). Listed on TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory List, Canada DSL (Domestic Substance List) Inventory List, EU EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) List and China inventory of Existing Chemical Substances list. DIN Certco certified for industrial compostability at 1.0 mil thick maximum.
