Compostable® 3020

Polylactic acid. It is DIN Certco certified for industrial compostability at 1.0 mil thick maximum. It is starch-based and gluten-free, made from corn, tapioca and potato starches that primarily come from the American Midwest (versus oil from the Middle East). It has been designed to have an excellent balance of puncture strength, toughness and processability. Can be processed on existing blown film extrusion machines. It is recommended for extrusion of blown film for application including liners, bags, packaging, overwrap, and similar applications.
