Compostable® 7003

Compostable® 7003 by Trellis Bioplastics is a renewable, ecologically sound, biodegradable PLA (poly‐lactic acid) blend resin. It exhibits an excellent balance of clarity, transparency, strength, toughness and processability. It can be processed on existing profile extrusion and cast lines. It is recommended for profile extrusion applications including straws, profiles, pipes, conduits, cast film, and similar applications. It meets BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute www.bpiworld.com) standards for compostability (ASTM6400D99, ASTM6868) and European Bioplastics Standards (EN13432). Compostable® 7003 is listed on TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act) Inventory List, Canada DSL (Domestic Substance List) Inventory List, EU EINECS (European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances) List and China inventory of Existing Chemical Substances list.
