Teflon™ FEP 9494

Teflon™ FEP 9494 is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene (FEP) by Chemours. Possesses good dielectric, non-stick properties, good toughness, low coefficient of friction and moisture absorption. Exhibits low flammability, good flexibility, low smoke, chemical inertness & high weather & ignition resistance. Teflon™ FEP 9494 is suitable for processing by melt extrusion & injection, compression and transfer molding. Used in thin wall wire & cable insulation, industrial film, high speed extrusion of thin coatings on small gauge wires for twisted-pair constructions and low voltage applications. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations and ASTM D 2116 type II.
