Teflon™ PTFE 60 X is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade by Chemours. It possesses moderate stiffness, good toughness, dielectric & non-stick properties, thermal stability and low density. Exhibits chemical inertness, good flexibility, low friction & moisture absorption and high elongation. Offers high temperature-, corrosion and weather resistance. Teflon™ PTFE 60 X is stable with frequency & temperature. It is suitable for processing by paste extrusion using liquid processing aid like naphtha. It is used in sealing material, tape for wire & cable insulation, beading, tubing and wire coatings. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
