Teflon™ PTFE 601 X by Chemours is a low density polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade. Possesses good stiffness, toughness, dielectric & non-stick properties and thermal stability. Exhibits chemical inertness, good flexibility, low friction, moisture absorption and high elongation. Offers high temperature-, corrosion- and weather resistance. It is stable with frequency & temperature and can be processed by paste extrusion using liquid processing aid like naphtha. Teflon™ PTFE 601 X is used in unsintered articles like filter membranes, gaskets, beading, tubing and wire coatings. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
