Teflon™ PTFE 62 X

Teflon™ PTFE 62 X by Chemours is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade. Shows thermal stability, low density, moderate stiffness, good toughness, dielectric, non aging and non-stick properties. Exhibits chemical inertness, high flexibility, low friction & moisture absorption and high elongation. Offers low permeability, high temperature-, corrosion-, stress cracking and weather resistance. It is stable with frequency & temperature and can be processed by paste extrusion using liquid processing aid like naphtha. Teflon™ PTFE 62 X is used in tubing, spaghetti tubing, wire coating, hoses, automotive hydraulic fluid, fuel & gas, brake systems and after-processing technologies such as flanging, welding, blow molding and convoluting. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
