Makroblend® UT250 HR

Makroblend® UT250 HR by Covestro is an impact-modified, polycarbonate (PC) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) blend. It is suitable for processing by injection molding.
  • It exhibits improved hydrolysis resistance compared to standard Makroblend UT grades.
  • It exhibits high heat resistance, good chemical resistance to many lubricants, solvents, fuel, oils, hand creams, solvents, sweat and cleaning agents, reduced susceptibility to stress cracking, paintability, excellent dimensional stability, improved hydrolysis resistance and low moisture uptake.
  • It provides high toughness (even at low temperatures), exceptional impact strength, good flow and high rigidity.
  • Makroblend® UT250 HR is used in lead-acid battery housing applications.
  • It complies with UL 94 HB flame rating.
