Makrolon® 2858

Covestro

Makrolon® 2858 by Covestro is a medium viscosity polycarbonate (PC) grade. It is suitable for EtO and steam sterilization at 121°C. It exhibits easy release, high heat resistance, good toughness, good dimensional stability, high creep modulus and good electrical insulation properties. It is processed by injection molding. Makrolon® 2858 is recommended for medical devices. It is biocompatible according to ISO 10993-1 test requirements.
