Makrolon® Rx2530

Makrolon® Rx2530 by Covestro is a medium viscosity polycarbonate (PC) grade. Suitable for sterilization with high-energy radiation. Exhibits easy release, high heat resistance, good toughness, good dimensional stability, high creep modulus and good electrical insulation properties.
  • Provides good transparency, high impact strength, chemical-, heat- and hydrolysis resistance.
  • Offers durability, efficient reusability and energy and CO2 emission savings.
  • Suitable for processing by injection molding.
  • Makrolon® Rx2530 is used in transparent medical parts like housing for bone fixation device.
  • It is biocompatible according to ISO 10993-1 test requirements.
