EcoPaXX® Q-HGM24

EcoPaXX® Q-HGM24 by Envalior is a heat-stabilized, 10% glass-reinforced, 20% mineral-reinforced, high-performance long-chain polyamide (PA410) based on castor oil. It offers exceptional performance in the most demanding of environments. This grade offers excellent chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, combined with a very high melting point (highest of all bio-plastics) and high crystallization rate (typical for engineering plastics like PA66 and PA46). It is processed by injection molding. It allows for reliable solutions to its high-temperature resistance (better than PA6), great surface appearance and low warpage level. Also, allows for more sustainable solutions due to its excellent carbon footprint (70% biobased) as compared to PA6 and PA66. EcoPaXX® Q-HGM24 is used in engine covers (close to turbo charged components).
