LACTEL® 50:50 DL-PLG (B6010-1) by Evonik is biobased and biodegradable poly(DL-lactide-co-glycolide) grade. It is a lactic acid and glycolic acid ester terminated (end group) copolymer.

It is employed in pharmaceutical and biological applications.
It complies with the guidelines set forth in the United States Pharmacopeia and recognized by the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council (IPEC) for Good Manufacturing Practices for Bulk Pharmaceutical Excipients.
