Grilamid® L 20 GM

Grilamid® L 20 GM is a nucleated, medium viscosity and heat stabilized polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Is formed by the polymerisation of laurolactam (lactam 12, obtained from the basic raw material butadiene), a ring-shaped, long-chain monomer with 12 carbon atoms. Exhibits low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, high resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis, UV, abrasion, wear and weathering. Possesses lowest density among all polyamides, high impact strength down to -40°C, easy processability and good flow. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive powertrain and chassis components, electronics & electrical applications like connectors, lighting, housewares & consumer good applications, hydraulics & pneumatics and in engineering tools. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
